1883: Billy McGregor nets a hat-trick as Rangers defeat Third Lanark 5-0 in a Friendly at Kinning Park. John Inglis and Alex Hamilton were also on the mark for the home side.

1888: William Aird and Tom Wylie score as Rangers draw 2-2 with Clyde in the Scottish Cup 2^nd Round at Barrowlfield.

1894: Goals from John Barker, John Gray and John McPherson aren’t enough to prevent Rangers from slipping to a 5-3 defeat to Celtic at Parkhead.
