1942: Rangers claim the Summer Cup on the toss of a coin! Following a 0-0 Final draw with Hibs at Hampden, the winner was to be found by a coin toss with both sides level on 2 corners apiece. It landed in Rangers’ favour and the Cup was headed back to Govan for the first time.

2001: Murray Park is officially opened. The 38-acre Training Centre 6 full-size and 2 half-size outdoor pitch, an indoor pitch and also included a state-of-the-art gymnasium, complete with swimming pool, a medical suite and video analysis technology.

2012: John Fleck joins Coventry on a Free Transfer from Rangers. The Midfielder had rejected a transfer of contract and later both Clubs agreed on an undisclosed settlement that is believed to involve a sell-on clause.

2017: Shockingly, Rangers are defeated 2-0 in Luxembourg, by Progres Niederkorn in the Europa League 1st Qualifying Round 2nd Leg. The Gers exited 2-1 on aggregate.
