1968: Rangers Manager Davie White was forced to take a training session at the White City Greyhound track! Due to the Albion being under redevelopment, the boss secured the nearby facility.

1972: A Colin Stein hat-trick and a goal each from Alex MacDonald and Graham Fyfe earns Rangers a 5-2 Friendly win over Stjarn Komb in Sweden.

1974: Rangers draw 0-0 with Karlstad in a Friendly.

1981: Rangers hammer Oland 5-0 in a Friendly thanks to goals from Colin McAdam, John McDonald (2), Davie Cooper and Jim Bett.

1986: It was no cakewalk as Rangers drew 1-1 with Battenburg in a Friendly. Colin West grabbed the Light Blues’ equaliser.

1987: Rangers wrap up their tour of Switzerland with a 1-1 draw against Lausanne-Sports. Robert Fleck was on target for the Gers. The Ibrox men left with just 1 defeat and 3 victories.

1992: A crowd of just 700 was present to witness goals from Paul Rideout, Mark Hateley and Ally McCoist give Rangers a 3-1 win over Queen’s Park in a Friendly at Hampden.

1997: Rangers sign goalkeeper Antti Niemi from Copenhagen for £700,000.

1998: The Dick Advocaat regime begins with a 5-3 win over Shelbourne in the UEFA Cup 1st Qualifying Round 1st Leg, at Prenton Park. After going 3 down, 2 goals each from Jorg Albertz and Garbriel Amato and 1 from Giovanni van Bronckhorst saw Rangers take a victory back to Ibrox.

2003: Rangers are beaten 2-1 in a Friendly by Jahn Regensburg. Christian Nerlinger had equalised for the Light Blues.

2006: Rangers defeat Middlesbrough 1-0 in a Friendly at Ibrox thanks to a first-half goal from Thomas Buffel.

2008: Nacho Novo scores the only goal with 10 minutes remaining to give Rangers a 1-0 Friendly win over Clyde.

2015: Rangers fans get their first glimpse of Mark Warburton’s side as the Light Blues are defeated 1-0 in a home Friendly against Burnley. Earlier in the day, the Gers confirmed they had agreed terms to bring Jason Holt to Ibrox following a trial period with the Club.

2016: Rangers defeat East Stirlingshire 3-0 at Ochilview in the League Cup Group F. An Andy Halliday penalty and goals from Josh Windass and debutant Joe Dodoo saw the Gers make it 3 wins out of 3.

2017: A stunning Niko Kranjcar free-kick earns Rangers a 1-1 draw with Marseille in a Friendly at Ibrox.

2018: Steven Gerrard makes his 10th signing as Rangers Manager: Ryan Kent on a season-long loan from Liverpool.
