1878: The goalscorers remain unknown from Rangers’ 4-0 Friendly win over Helensburgh.

1884: John Inglis (2) and Hugh McHardy are the only known goalscorers as Rangers defeat Battlefield 5-3 in a Friendly at Kinning Park.

1889: William McBain scores in Rangers’ 6-1 Friendly loss at Abercorn.

1901: Rangers exit the Scottish Cup in the 1^st Round with a 1-0 loss to Celtic at Parkhead. Jock Drummond scored an OG.

1907: Jimmy Spiers scores the only goal as Rangers defeat Hibs 1-0 in a League encounter at Ibrox.

1918: A Jimmy Gordon brace earns Rangers a 2-0 win against Hearts at Ibrox.

1924: Tully Craig equalises in the 86^th minute as Rangers draw 1-1 with Dundee at Ibrox. Sandy Archibald also misses a penalty.

1929: Bob McPhail scores a hat-trick to help Rangers to a 4-0 victory over Queen’s Park at Hampden. Jimmy Fleming is also on target.

1935: Rangers beat Ayr Utd 4-2 courtesy of a Jimmy Smith double and goals from Willie Nicholson and Alex Venters.

1946: Rangers’ 21-match unbeaten run in the Southern League ends as the Gers go down 4-1 to Aberdeen at Pittodrie. Willie Waddell scored with a penalty in the final minutes for the Gers.

1952: Willie Thornton grabs the decisive goal as Rangers beat Airdrie 1-0 at Ibrox.

1955: Rangers sign 19 year-old Jimmy Millar from Dunfermline for a “very substantial fee,” according to the Pars Chairman, believed to be £5,000.

1957: Rangers suffer a 1-0 loss to Ayr Utd at Somerset Park.

1974: Tommy McLean levels the scores as Rangers draw 1-1 with Aberdeen at Ibrox.

1980: Goals from Colin Jackson and John McDonald aren’t enough to prevent Rangers from slipping to a 3-2 defeat at Aberdeen.

1981: Kenny Watson is on the scoresheet as Rangers are beaten 1-0 by Partick Thistle in the Glasgow Cup Semi-Final.

1985: Iain Ferguson is on target for Rangers who are beaten 2-1 at home by Hibs.

1991: Pieter Huistra and Mo Johnston get the goals as Rangers beat Dunfermline 2-0 at Ibrox.

1997: Rangers beat Aberdeen 4-0 at Ibrox thanks to goals from Erik Bo Andersen (2), Jorg Albertz and Brian Laudrup.

2002: Rangers defeat Livingston 3-0 at Ibrox. Tore Andre Flo opened the scoring before Claudio Caniggia netted a brace.

2013: An Andy Little hat-trick and a goal from David Templeton seals a 4-2 victory for Rangers against Berwick Rangers at Ibrox.

2017: Rangers loan Midfielder Jon Toral from Arsenal for the remainder of the season.

2018: Josh Windass scores the only goal as Rangers defeat Atletico Mineiro 1-0 in Orlando in their opening match of the Florida Cup.
