1875: A John Campbell hat-trick and a goal from Moses McNeil hands Rangers a 4-0 victory in a Friendly against Havelock.

1880: Rangers thump Hibs 5-1 in a Friendly. William Struthers and Willie Pringle scored twice each with Tuck McIntyre also on target.

1886: Matthew Lawrie (3) and Jim Buchanan are the only known goalscorers from Rangers’ 5-5 draw with Dumbarton in a Friendly at Boghead.

1897: Rangers ease to a 5-1 win against St Mirren with goals from Peter Turnbull (2), RC Hamilton, John McPherson and Tommy Low. McPherson also missed a penalty.

1909: Rangers draw 0-0 with Partick Thistle at Firhill.

1915: Rangers defeat Queen’s Park 6-0 at Hampden courtesy of goals from Andy Cunningham (2), Tommy Cairns (2), Scott Duncan and Fleming.

1920: Geordie Henderson hits 4 as Rangers trounce Dundee 5-0 at Ibrox. Sandy Archibald was also on the scoresheet for the Light Blues.

1926: Rangers overturn a 1-0 deficit to beat Cowdenbeath 4-1. Goals from Alan Morton (2), Jimmy Fleming and Tully Craig secure a victory for the Gers.

1937: Jimmy Smith and Alex Venters score 2 goals each as Rangers see off Kilmarnock 4-1 at Ibrox.

1943: Rangers hammer Albion Rovers 5-1 thanks to goals from Charlie Johnston, Torry Gillick, Willie McIntosh (2) and Willie Waddell.

1948: Willie Thornton and Torry Gillick are on target as Rangers are beaten 4-2 at home by Hibs.

1954: Billy Simpson (2), Ralph Brand (2), Johnny Hubbard and Willie Paton are all on target as Rangers beat Kilmarnock 6-0 at Ibrox.

1965: Goals from Markie (OG), George McLean and Willie Henderson seals a 3-0 victory for Rangers at home against Falkirk.

1971: Willie Johnston scores a hat-trick of penalties as Rangers dish out a 4-1 drubbing away at St Johnstone. Alex MacDonald was also on target for the visitors. Remarkably, all 5 goals were scored in the 2nd half.

1982: John McDonald and Gordon Dalziel score doubles as Rangers defeat Motherwell 4-0 at Ibrox.

1993: Ian Ferguson and Pieter Huistra get the goals as Rangers beat Kilmarnock 2-0 at Rugby Park.

1998: Rangers sign Stephane Guivarc’h from Newcastle Utd for £3.5 million. On the same day, Gordan Petric leaves the Light Blues and joins Crystal Palace for £300,000.

2013: 3 goals in the last 20 minutes from Lee McCulloch, Jon Daly and Bilel Mohsni gives Rangers a 3-1 victory away at Dunfermline.

2016: Clint Hill opens the scoring as Rangers are held to a 1-1 draw by Ross County at Victoria Park.
