1890: Donald Gow scores a hat-trick for Rangers in their 3-3 draw with Third Lanark in a Friendly match at Cathkin Park.

1902: Rangers defeat Johnstone 6-1 at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup 1st Round. Goals from Jacky Robertson, Finlay Speedie, Howie (OG), Alec Smith, JR Hamilton and John Graham sets-up a 2nd Round clash with Inverness Caledonian.

1908: Jimmy Spiers and Archie Kyle get the goals as Rangers beat Third Lanark 2-0 in a League match at Ibrox.

1913: A Robert Parker hat-trick earns Rangers a 3-1 victory over Motherwell at home.

1919: Rangers suffer a 1-0 defeat away at Kilmarnock.

1936: A late Alex Venters double secures a 2-0 win for Rangers against Airdrie at Broomfield.

1939: 2 goals from Willie Thornton and 1 each from Albert Lyness and Alex Venters sees Rangers ease to a 4-0 triumph over Arbroath at Ibrox.

1947: Rangers beat Partick Thistle 4-0 with goals scored by George Young, Willie Waddell, Willie Thornton and Torry Gillick.

1958: Goals from Muir (OG), Sammy Baird and Billy Simpson earns Rangers a 3-1 win over Hibs at Ibrox.

1964: Rangers beat Stenhousemuir at Ochilview in the Scottish Cup 1st Round thanks to goals from Jimmy Millar, John Greig (2), Davie Provan and Ralph Brand. The Light Blues progressed to meet Duns in the 2nd Round.

1969: A goal each from Andy Penman and Willie Johnston hands Rangers a 2-0 win over Hearts at Ibrox.

1975: Rangers thump Dumbarton 5-1 at Boghead courtesy of a Tommy McLean hat-trick and goals from Derek Parlane and Derek Johnstone.

1977: Colin Jackson scores an OG as Rangers are beaten 1-0 by Celtic at Parkhead.

1984: Following a 3-3 draw, Rangers are beaten 7-6 on penalties by Ajax at Ibrox in the KLM Challenge Cup. Bobby Williamson had the home side in-front after 15 seconds, the lead was then doubled by Ian Redford 8 minutes later. The Dutch side fought back with the help of Johann Cruyff, and eventually were leading 3-2. A Robert Prytz penalty forced a penalty shoot-out.

1986: Rangers beat Clydebank 4-2 at Ibrox with goals from Craig Paterson, Dave McPherson, Bobby Williamson and Ally McCoist. Paterson also scored an OG.

1992: Mark Walters and Ally McCoist are on the scoresheet as Rangers beat Hibs 2-0 at Ibrox.

2000: Ian Ferguson joins Dunfermline from Rangers on a Free Transfer.

2007: Julien Rodriguez leaves Rangers and signs for Marseille on a Free Transfer.

2014: Dean Shiels grabs both goals in Rangers’ 2-0 win at home over East Fife.

2016: Andy Murdoch agrees a loan switch to Queen of the South.
