1891: A John McPherson brace and a goal each from Neil Kerr and George McGowan hands Rangers a narrow 4-3 win over St Mirren in a League match at Westmarch Estate.
1896: Tommy Hyslop scores 4 as Rangers thump Clyde 7-2 at Barrowfield Park. Sadly, the other scorers remain unknown.
1903: Nick Smith is the only known Rangers goalscorer from their 2-2 draw with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
1908: Rangers suffer a 1-0 defeat away at Falkirk.
1914: Rangers beat St Mirren 5-0 with goals coming from James Logan, Tommy Cairns, Willie Reid, Jimmy Bowie and Dr Jimmy Paterson.
1925: Andy Cunningham scores both goals as Rangers are held to a 2-2 draw by Kilmarnock.

1936: Despite going 2-0 up inside 6 minutes through Jimmy Smith and Davie Kinnear, Rangers are defeated 5-2 by Hearts in Edinburgh.
1942: Alex Venters equalises on 78 minutes as Rangers draw 1-1 with Falkirk at Ibrox.
1959: Rangers thump Kilmarnock 5-0 thanks to goals from Davie Wilson, Ian McMillan (2), Alex Scott and Max Murray.
1970: Rangers draw 0-0 with Dundee at Ibrox.
1973: Alex MacDonald is on target for Rangers as they are beaten 3-1 by Celtic in the League Cup Semi-Final.
1981: A goal each from John McDonald and Bobby Russell earns Rangers a 2-2 draw with Airdrie at Broomfield.
1984: Rangers reject a Loan offer from Cardiff City for Ally McCoist. The approach came from the Welsh Side’s Manager Alan Durban who had signed the Striker for Sunderland.
1987: Ally McCoist scores the only goal from the penalty spot as Rangers beat Dundee Utd 1-0 at Ibrox. Iain Ferguson missed a spot kick for the Arabs.
1998: Giovanni van Bronckhorst scores as Rangers are forced to settle for a 1-1 draw away at Dunfermline.
1999: Rangers complete the signing of Billy Dodds from Dundee Utd for £1.3 million.
2004: Dado Prso levels the scores for Rangers who can only draw 1-1 with Inverness at Pittodrie.
2009: A Kris Boyd brace and a goal from Kenny Miller seals a 3-1 victory for Rangers over Falkirk.
