1881: Rangers defeat South Western 4-0 in the Scottish Cup 5th Round Replay at Kinning Park. Goals from John Christie, Willie McFarlane, David Hill and John Inglis set-up a Quarter-Final with Dumbarton.

1898: Rangers set their record win in the Scottish League with a 10-0 thrashing of Hibs at Ibrox. Alec Smith (4), RC Hamilton (2), John McPherson, Jim Miller, Neilly Gibson and Johnny Campbell were all on target as the Gers stormed to victory and maintained their 100% winning record for the League campaign. The previous month saw the Gers require a last minute penalty to narrowly win 4-3 at Easter Road, however this fixture proved to be much more decisive with the home side holding a 5-0 lead after 20 minutes!

1904: 2 goals from Finlay Speedie and 1 from RC Hamilton earns Rangers a 3-3 draw with Preston North End in a Friendly at Deepdale.

1910: Willie Reid and James Galt get the goals as Rangers beat Hearts 2-0 at Ibrox.
